Cassie is an education specialist, consultant, and coach with over 20 years of experience in early childhood and elementary education, educator mentoring, and program leadership. She is the founder of Applejacks Preschool in Toronto, a Reggio Emilia–inspired, nature-based program where Self-Reg principles are deeply integrated into daily practice and outdoor learning is intentionally woven into every experience.

As a recognized leader in emergent curriculum, self-regulation, and nature-based pedagogy, Cassie bridges research and practice to support educators, leaders, and families in creating reflective, connected learning environments where both children and adults feel capable, inspired, and empowered.

She holds professional certifications in Self-Reg from The MEHRIT Centre and brings extensive experience in curriculum development, educator coaching, and organizational growth to every partnership. She is also the author of the children’s book, “But Why? A Virus Story” published in 2020.
